Streams of Change and Astrology Forecast February 7-13

In March a Major Portal will open the floodgates of accelerated transformational changes for both our global and personal lives.

Two important Eclipses will burst forward then:  a Solar Eclipse New Moon in water sign Pisces, and a Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Aries/Libra

Of course those waters flowing through the new Portal will seek to break down any blockages in systems, souls, and bodies; so these healing waters of revolution and evolution can live more fully in us.

So we have about a month before this transformational energy comes rushing through.

This Monday February 8 brings us an important new beginning with a New Moon in Aquarius.

In many ways sensitive people will begin to experience the Eclipse Season after this New Moon in Aquarius.

Floods of soulful energies will pour through our world beginning at the Solar Eclipse in water sign Pisces.

Water Bearer Aquarius, an air sign, carries streams of change that will open into an ocean of change at the Solar Eclipse in Pisces. Neptune is the “ruler” of Pisces and of course Neptune is the God of the Oceans.

The New Moon this week in Aquarius is at 9:39 AM EST.  It brings the beginning waves of the Eclipse Season.

So an important lunar cycle begins at the New Moon in Aquarius this week.  It carries the energies and issues that will burst forth in March, dramatically changing our lives both personally and globally.

Then April will continue the onslaught of transformational energies, as the Uranus/Pluto square (still in effect), will be triggered as Mars changes directions and Mercury goes Retrograde again.

So at this New Moon in Aquarius, allow the new energies to seep in slowly before their Grand opening in March and April.

This New Moon in Aquarius gets us more attuned with our need to be very distinct individualized persons, being authentic and not molding ourselves according to societal or family dictates.

At the same time as we get in touch with that which makes us unique and different,  aligned with the sign Aquarius we ironically seek socially conscious groups that we can somehow fit into.

Often I write about Diversity within Unity being the callling card of the Age of Aquarius.

Aquarius is about being your unique self with unique function in the community, equal in value to all others, all in unity.

This New Moon in Aquarius is a good time to really get in touch with what you believe in idealistically and politically.

The elections for President should be about who answers your calls for the type of world you believe in, not who is the lesser of evils.

If people keep voting for lesser of two evils, we will always have an “evil” world, so to speak.

This time there are candidates outside the usual boxes, as the world is moving into a New Age.  Vote your heart and conscience, not according to some political “wisdom”.

The Iowa caucus showed favorites doing well, and Ted Cruz won the Republican caucus while Sanders and Clinton were pretty much even.

Astrologically speaking, I do not see Cruz winning.   Rubio, Trump, Bush, and Sanders look the best astrologically to me.

Though my astrological formula has done well in the past, keep in mind that we all vote and nothing is written in stone.

But for Cruz or someone else who does not fit into, by formula,  what is coming into our country and world does not make sense to me.

The New Moon in Aquarius brings with it on February 8- a Chinese New Year of the Monkey.  The monkey is considered a mentally agile symbol and great gains technologically make sense as a result this, as well as new ideas and inventions this coming year.

This year already has shown us that the recent transformational energies are now taking hold and becoming more real.

Yes the Presidential campaigns are showing us how the electorate wants change away from same-old doing business as usual.

The USA has been having its very central core broken down over the last couple of years as Uranus and Pluto have been making aspect to its Sun in Cancer.

The presidential elections show how the USA no longer knows who it is as its identity has been changing.  President Barack Hussein Obama has brought a whole new kind of president, outside the usual box of white anglo saxon protestant male.

And our detente with Cuba and Iran has changed our relationship to the world.  And our not blindly following Israel’s needs has also changed our relationship to them and the Muslim world.

The Middle East is so important to the world’s transformation into a New Age.

The Middle East is where most of our major religions and civilizations were born. It is where the transition between ages is brewing, where a New World will erupt from.

Will we in the USA continue the path President Obama represents and elect someone who continues to be on that track?

Or will we elect someone who sees America as better than the rest, and hates Muslims or others who they feel threaten the American way of life.

Will we bring in a president who will represent Diversity in Unity, equality for all;  or will we need to go back two dangerous steps before we go three steps forward later?

The presidential choices are more clear now than since the ’60s and ’70s.  Each of us must now reach for our “better angels” inside us.  Revenge, fear and hatred will take us into a dark tunnel of pain.  Love combined with Truth will take us to the best places, places aligned with the best of the Age of Aquarius.

Till next week,

Leo

Presidential Primaries and Caucuses and Astrology Forecast January 31- Feb. 6

Posted in Weekly WorldView and Astrology forecast with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 29, 2016 by spiritualtherapy

By Leo Knighton Tallarico

The skies of our minds are clearing now as Mercury is back Direct.  And by the end of this coming week, Mercury will be back to speed and opening the way to even more clarity and direcion for our lives.

And just in time for the primary Presidential election process.

As we enter February 2016, Presidential primary and caucus action begin. February 1 is the Iowa caucus and February 9 is the New Hampshire primary vote.

We are looking today at the chances of each candidate, both Republican and Democrat, to be the nominee of their party and eventual President of the United States.

I have my own formula, a formula that worked by my predicting Obama and McCain as the nominees at a time when Hilary Clinton and Rudy Giuliani were way ahead in the polls. I actually then believed at the time that my formula must be really bogus.

This formula is based on how each candidate passes these tests: 1) How their natal chart connects with the USA chart from its birth on July 4 1776. If there are many connections then that candidate resonates on some level with the intentions of the country. 2) How their natal charts match up with planetary movements during the time of the next Presidential term, early 2017- early 2021. This gives me the knowledge that whatever crises we face in the world over the next four years or so, the President will in step with. 3) How do their natal charts match up with planetary movement at the party conventions this summer and Election Day November 8.

The forthcoming predictions are based strictly on the astrological formula, not on any political analysis.

Please don’t blame the messenger of the information, haha me.

We are looking at Ted Cruz (Capricorn), Marco Rubio (Gemini), Donald Trump (Gemini), Rand Paul (Capricorn), Jeb Bush (Aquarius), Chris Christie (Virgo), John Kasich (Taurus), and Ben Carson (Virgo)for the Republicans and Hilary Clinton (Scorpio) and Bernie Sanders (Virgo) for the Democrats.

In another issue we will look at the Libertarian and Green candidates and the former mayor of NY Michael Bloomberg who may try a third party run.

The candidates who show positive connectivity to the formula are Bush, Trump, Paul, Rubio, and Kasich for the Republicans; and Clinton and Sanders for the Democrats.

When we look at those who shine within the formula, Trump, Bush, Rubio, and Sanders stand out the most.

Again I am doing my utmost best to not project my wants, media ideas, or so-called political wisdom to the situation- strictly using the formulas that worked in 2008.

BTW- I gave Obama the edge over McCain for the Presidency then, based on the formula.

Let’s look at this month ahead and then we make the final picks later in this column.

Even as I write about the “race” to become President, I have such mixed feelings about it all.   In America it is a contest and competition with billions of dollars spent in order to win.   This money could be used for so many better causes than to criticize opponents in TV ads, for instance.

There is little sense of community dialogue about what would be best for the people of the country. Instead it feels like candidates selling the public on themselves as they tear about their opponents- while spending tons of money. It is a process that rewards narcissism and wealth.

But it is what it is, and we will try to figure out who will win and have some fun with it all.

As February opens with the Iowa caucuses on the 1st, we are in the last quarter Moon phase. As such there is a feeling of coming down into reality. It is also Imbolc, a time our ancestors honored as the mid way point between Winter Solstice and Spring equinox. It was considered a time of Initiation.

Now in today’s more superficial world, it is called Groundhog Day, when that animal looks for shadows and signs of an early or late spring arriving.

It will be a big initiation into the Primary voting season and some candidates will already get a sense of hope for the spring of 2016.

One week later, on February 8 there will be a New Moon in Aquarius as the voting in New Hampshire arrives the next day.

There will be some dropouts after this vote, while others will feel much more confident of their cause.

Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, and John Kasich should be at a turning point around the New Hampshire vote, as is seen in the astrology of that time period. They will each either choose to commit more firmly to staying in, or will definitely be out.

That New Moon in Aquarius coincides with Chinese New Year, and it will be the Year of the Monkey. Some of the candidates for President of the USA fit that description well.

Aquarius is a socially and politically conscious sign. It also uses its head more than its heart, often priding itself on the ability to be detached in thinking and having inventive genius.

Aquarius has a web like thinking ability similar to the internet, and Aquarians usually feel “different”-  outside normal boxes and often feel they just cannot “fit in”.

But at the same time they are always desiring to fit in with some group, getting disappointed often.

I think it was Groucho Marks who once said that any group that wanted him as a member was not a group he wanted to join.

So at this New Moon in Aquarius, on February 8 at 9:39 AM EST,  it is a good time to get with people or groups who you truly relate with, and who honor you for your unique individuality as well.

So for President it looks like this: On the Republican side, Trump seems like the best bet to win. Bush or Rubio look next best.

For the Dems, Sanders looks slightly better then Clinton.

For actual President, Trump has important planets that connect with the USA Mars (war) and its Pluto in the 2nd house (economy), so I believe that if there are urgent crises that erupt before November 8, Trump will win. And that possibility is pretty real.

And if not then I believe Sanders (or perhaps Clinton) will win.

By Leo Knighton Tallarico

Saturday January 23 is bringing us a Full Moon in Aquarius/Leo at 8:46 PM EST.  This lunation represents the potential balance between Head (Aquarius) and Heart (Leo).   Aquarius is also strong on following higher pricinciples or socially conscious behavior, while Leo is strong on following that which makes its heart sing and what would be the more popular choice.

So if you go looking for a car any time soon, will you want it to be environmentally clean with good mileage per gallon (Aquarius) or would you prefer a shiny car with the color that turns you on and has all the toys and whistles inside (Leo)?

This Full Moon is also a time to hold in balance one’s detached and inventive mind (Aquarius), with one’s fun loving open heart (Leo).

Do your want to be noticed and popular (Leo)?  Or would you prefer being a distinct and unusual individual who might not fit in (Aquarius)?

All this Full Moon glow will be shining this weekend (January 23/24), while waiting for Mercury to go back Direct on Monday January 25 at 4:50 PM EST.

Is there any one out there reading this forecast who has really enjoyed this now passing Mercury Retrograde time period?

Seems like most of us will feel quite relieved when Mercury goes back Direct Monday the 25th.

For many it has been a particularly difficult Mercury Retrograde, painful and confusing.

Hope you were able to put off any important decisions or to wait before doing anything of great importance.

After Mercury goes back Direct, the rewind button on our lives stops being used, and we begin to be more present in our current lives, watching for the fog to lift and for more clarity to appear.

It often takes up to a week or so before everything is totally clear, but almost immediately after going Direct, Mercury does show us some clear light.

If you were taken into past memories, you will be able after Mercury goes Direct, to better understand the significance of why those old memories needed to be viewed again.

Are you facing a current life situation that will benefit for the renewed perspective brought on by the rerun of old times?

Always during Mercury Retrograde- whatever way we were perceiving something before it went Retrograde- then feels in doubt. But the doubt should not be acted upon right away nor should one jump to any conclusions brought on by the doubt perceived during the Retrograde period.

Now soon you will have a cleared air experience, seeing with new eyes, eyes no longer cloudy and tired.

So how have you beeen experiencing, during Mercury Retrograde, the stock market moving into negative territory?  And have you jumped to any conclusions about Bernie Sanders’ recent resurgence in so many election polls or Donald Trump’s continued success in such polls?

Let’s wait for the air to clear after Mercury goes Direct to totally assess the situations.

The Stock Market and election polls (especially Bernie Sanders’ ones) are apparently showing us that there is great change coming to our economic system.  But will that trend continue when everyone sobers up from Mercury Retrograde?

As I look out at the Presidential field of candidates, I will let you know in this week’s forecast which candidates look like they have a chance based on an astrological formula, but I will not yet give final predictions until next week or the week after.

The forecast next week will likely be submitted one day early on Friday the 29th or one day late on January 31.  I will be flying to California on Saturday January 30, the usual day I would submit the forecast/blog.

The Republican candidates that passed the formula test are:  Donald Trump, Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, and Rand Paul.  This test is not based at all on political wisdom or polls. It is strictly based on the astrological formula I have concocted.

The candidates I said have a chance do not include Ted Cruz or Ben Carson, two people the polls have generally been favorable towards. It also does not include Kasich or Huckabee or Fiorinia.  It does, however, include Rand Paul who is doing quite badly in polls.

The formula is about finding candidates who will be step with the USA natal chart of July 4 1776; who are aligned with important astrological movement that will happen during the next Presidential term; and who will have favorable connections to the Party Convention Charts and Election Day charts.

On the Democrat side both Hilary Clinton and Bernie Sanders show indications they can win both the nomination process and the victory for president.

So better yet, let’s say that those I picked today cannot be ruled out.  In my estimation there are 6 candidates in both parties who cannot be ruled out yet.

We will look next time at who we feel will win the nominations and be President of the USA.

I may also soon look at potential candidates for the Libertarians, like former New Mexico governor Gary Johnson; or Green Party Candidates like Dr. Jill Stein.

Though we know they have little chance of winning we can still look at how they connect to the formula.

I also just read today that former New York Mayor Bloomberg is looking seriously at a third party candidacy.  If so we will look closely at his chances.

Seems as if the current trend is to break away from the system and system candidates, so you never know what or whom that may bring us for President.

The world is shifting so fast now on both personal and global stages.

Hold onto your hats this year for surprising changes and shifts; for new information to show us previously unknown truths of our human condition and its history on Earth and elsewhere.

How we have been taught in schools or families or from our culture does not necessarily show us Truth.

Truth all too often is shown with a bias, with an agenda, with a desire to program and condition others.

Winners in wars show history through their lens or paradigm, while those who lost in wars are shown as evil enemies who represented faulty ways of thinking and living.

And that way is how we are conditioned to look at cultures or religions or countries different than our own. Our people are the “good guys” and their people are the “bad guys” .  And of course the so-called “bad guys” are the “good guys” in their books while we are seen as the “bad guys”

That should tell you everything you need to know about how truth is in the eyes of the beholder- unless one can be objective without bias.

As the old paradigms become ripe to be dropped from our consciousness of what is true and real; we are open to create new world and new ways- All aligned with the Age of Aquarius.

Till next week when Mercury is back Direct,

Leo

Election Forecasting and Astrology Forecast January 17-23

Posted in Weekly WorldView and Astrology forecast with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 16, 2016 by spiritualtherapy

By Leo Knighton Tallarico

Mercury remains Retrograde this week, so keep processing and looking at possibilities and options.  Keep reflecting and rewinding in the past and see how it may apply to your current situation.

But resist jumping to any conclusions, as seductive and reassuring as that may be.  And resist rushing forward toward doing any important or meaningful event or project this week.

Thinking with any bottom line intention may be way off, without your knowing it.

It is a great time, however, to meditate, reflect and process.  One’s soul can be more easily accessed now as one’s mind is not operating well from the left brain during Mercury Retrograde.

Contact the reality of where your heart and soul are at now.  Feel that reality, and realize that what they align with and how they see truth has great importance, perhaps more important that what your logical mind sees as truth.

The Sun will move out of Capricorn and into Aquarius this Wednesday January 20.  Time to begin to get outside the box of conventional thinking and rules, and to be more inventive and creative in one’s ways.

Sure there are parts of life that demand that we do things how we are “supposed” to do them, but not as many as you have been programmed to believe.

Aquarius time of year is also a good time to be more socially conscious, to look beyond the self and into the greater group.

Aquarius has web like thinking to it, similar to the internet; so clearing your mind’s passageways is good, so it can travel to whatever places it needs to go.

And with Aquarius, some of those ways will likely be to places that are not part of the “normal” routes.

Aquarius brings fixed ideas and principles, however, as it is a fixed air sign.   It is also driven toward being in groups, but ironically Aquarius is the most individualized of all the signs, caring more about being true to its uniqueness than fitting in.

In politics, the more established candidates for President of the USA could get taken off track this month, opening up the way for those who are more “outside the box”.  Expect surprises.

We are looking at Republican candidates this week.  I have studied the charts of Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Paul, Christie, Carson, Kasich, Bush, and Huckabee.  I looked at each of them in terms of connecting with the USA natal chart; connecting with upcoming planetary transits for the 4 year Presidential term ahead; and how each of their natal charts is affected by the planets during the Republican Convention in mid July and the Election on November 8.

We will not make any predictions till after Mercury goes Retrograde on January 25, but we will now express the planetary connections or lack of them that each candidate shows.

Ben Carson shows some connections to the USA chart, Mainly difficult ones to its Sun, Mars, and Venus. He has little connection to to upcoming transits 2017-2021.   And there are few favorable aspects for him at the convention or on Election Day.  He is a Virgo and Jupiter will be in Virgo, close to his Sun during the Convention, however. But not much else.

John Kasich, a Sun in Taurus,  has meaningful aspects to the USA chart,  both its Sun and Moon.  And he does have some connection to coming aspects in 2017-2021.  But there are no important connections to the Republican Convention. He does, however, have a few positive connections to Election Day.

Rand Paul, a Sun in Capricorn, does have meaningful connections to the USA chart and connection to a few aspects from 2017-2021; but he has very few connections to either the Convention or Election Day.  There are connections to this North and South Nodes, which can be very important, but there is nothing else.

Mike Huckabee, another Sun in Virgo, has strong connections to the USA natal Moon, but little else.  He has some connection to coming aspects, but not many.   He has many connections to the Convention chart, some postive and some really negative.  And he does have a very positive Venus conjunct his North Node in Sagittarius for Election Day, but not much else.

Chris Christie, yet another Sun in Virgo,  has minor connections to the USA chart, a few connections to future aspects,  and negative Saturn transits to his Sun in both the Convention and Election Day charts.

Ted Cruz is another Sun in Capricorn.  So far all Republican candidates are Earth sign people- 3 Virgos, 2 Capricorns, 1 Taurus.

Ted has many connections to the USA chart, especially its Sun and Moon; but he has very few connections to future aspects.  He has some really potentially difficult aspects during the Convention, especially an exact Pluto square his natal Moon in Libra.  He has some favorably considered aspects to his Venus and Jupiter on Election Day, but the Pluto square Moon is again pretty exact that day too.

The last three candidates we look at are the only non Earth signs among the Republican candidates:  Trump and Rubio are Sun in Gemini, Bush Sun in Aquarius- all three are Air signs.

Looking back a second at the Democrat candidates:  Sanders is Virgo and Clinton is Scorpio.  There are no fire signs among the all candidates and only one water: Clinton.

Next Republican to look at is Marco Rubio.  He has few close connections to the USA natal chart, and very few to the future aspects.  He does have a few favorably considered connections at the Convention,  and a couple of conflicting connections on Election Day.

Jeb Bush has many connections to the USA chart, and some important ones to future aspects.  He has a mixed bag of connections to the Convention and Election Day.

Donald Trump has as many connections to the USA chart as does Bush.  Most glaringly he has strong connection to the USA Mars.  This is most significant if there are big conflicts the USA enters into this year and in the next 4 years.

Trump has many connections to future aspects of 2017-2021 too. He also has strong connection to the USA Pluto in Capricorn, symbolic of financial USA dominance.  That part of the USA chart will be strongly aspected in the next several years.

For the Convention week Trump has many strong planetary connections, some seem “positive” while others seem “negative”.   For Election Day there are a lot of connections again, some seemingly positive and some not as positive.

We will reflect some more on the candidates next week, and then we will make some predictions.   If any of you want more information on the astrological makeup of the candidates, let me know at soulus@aol.com.

I know some of you must have noticed that the stock market has been going way down since the beginning of 2016. This is its worst start ever for the first two weeks of a year.

The economy is in the process of great transformation. Listen to Bernie Sanders and see how many are being inspired by his message of transformation of the Economy.

It may or may not happen as Bernie Sanders suggests, but it is certainly ready for great change aligned with the Age of Aquarius.

Please do not get freaked out by who might be President after President Obama. I know many of you are frightened that Donald Trump may be our next President.

Let me remind everyone that the greatest changes of the ’60s and ’70s revolutionary times happened while Richard Nixon was president.  His policies and attitudes provided much motivation for revolutionary change.

The Age of Aquarius is even closer to reality now than it was back then. Everything happens for a reason, even if it looks and feels “negative” at the time.

There will be a Full Moon in Aquarius/Leo next Saturday the 23rd of January.   It will begin an energetic shift as Mercury goes back Direct two days later on the 25th.

We will discuss more next week.

Election Year Forecasts and Astrology Forecast January 10-16

Posted in Weekly WorldView and Astrology forecast with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 9, 2016 by spiritualtherapy

By Leo Knighton Tallarico

There is a New Moon in Capricorn  at 8:30 PM EST on Saturday January 9.   It signifies new beginnings, as do all new moons.

This one is in Capricorn and as such it prompts us to get back out into the world, to organize and plan, to be more disciplined, to do what one needs to do,  to make firmer boundaries, to be in one’s integrity, to demand more from your self and others, to concentrate more on work and accomplishment, to have greater self respect, to be more logical and realistic.

This is a more intense Capricorn New Moon than usual,  as the Uranus/Pluto square fits into the lunation’s configuration- with the New Moon in Capricorn conjunct Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Aries square the New Moon.

Besides being more intensifed than usual, it will also tend to shake up our usual thinking and habits, and to transform us out of old patterns and beliefs that we have outgrown.

It assists our transformational journey into a new season of our lives, helping us to release and to find closure on some issues.

The coming week, therefore, will push us forward, whether we feel we are ready or not.  Keep in mind that Mercury is Retrograde, so do your best to take it slow, to go through the full process; and with a New Moon in Capricorn, be rather cautious about making any moves that have long term implications.

We are getting closer now to the first caucuses and primaries for President of the United States.  Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, Greens and other parties will be choosing this year their nominees for President.

The election for a new President is less than 10 months away now.  The first caucus is in Iowa on February 1 and the first primary in New Hampshire is on February 9.

So both of these elective events will be held after Mercury goes back Direct on January 25.

Today’s assessment of the candidates for President is being presented during Mercury Retrograde, so I will wait till late January to make an absolute prediction for both Republican and Democrat nominees as well as predicting who will be the next President.

But I will nevertheless give you an astrological assessment of each candidate’s chances to win before that, kind of like odds of their winning based on the planets.

I use a formula I have created to assess the chances of each candidate. This formula is in large part based on how much each candidate’s natal planets connect with the USA natal planets from July 4 1776, the nation’s birth date.

This formula is also based on important planetary movements and transits that will be occurring over the next four years or so, and how much each candidate has planets that fit into those transits.

I do this because it only makes sense that whoever is President will have a planetary makeup that connects with whatever crises the world and especially the USA is going through.

I used this formula for the 2008 election for President, and in late 2007 I predicted that Senator John McCain would be the Republican nominee, and then Senator Barack Obama would be the Democrat nominee.

At the time I made the predictions Rudy Giuliani had a huge lead in the polls for the Republican nomination and Hilary Clinton had an overwhelming lead to be the nominee for the Democrats.

I thought at that point that my formula must be crazy, but it turned out right on.

For President I said the planetary aspects were favorable for both McCain and Obama, but I gave the slight edge to Obama.

Now this time I will be assessing the chances only of those who have any chance at all, as there are so many candidates. I will not be looking at Libertarians, or Greens etc. as the processs for finding a President through debates and media coverage is controlled and dominated by Corporate and Party control of media and debates, taking away the chances for smaller parties to win.

We will take a few weeks to make the assessments.

For the Democrats, Bernie Sanders and Hilary Clinton are the ones who are running for President.

Bernie Sanders was born on September 8 1941 at 12:27 PM in Brooklyn Heights, New York.

His Sun is in Virgo, his Moon is in Aries and he has Scorpio Rising.

This makes him intensely passionate, forthright and direct, and wanting perfection and purity in all he seeks.

His Rising Sign in Scorpio and his Saturn in Taurus square the USA natal Moon in Aquarius; his North Node in Virgo exactly conjuncts the USA natal Neptune; his Pluto in Leo closely conjuncts the USA North Node; and his Moon/Mars conjunction in Aries has contact with the USA Sun in Cancer and its Pluto in Capricorn. His Jupiter in Gemini conjuncts the USA natal Mars placement in Gemini.

That is a lot of connections to the USA natal chart, making him a serious candidate.

In the sky for all of us, there will be important Uranus transiting connections to the USA Pluto in Capricorn- in 2017 and 2018, and Sanders’ Mars in Aries will be affected at the same time by that Uranus transit.

Pluto will make its first ever USA Pluto Return in 2021, and a second term for Sanders would connect him with that reality.  No human beings ever have a Pluto Return as it takes almost 250 years of age before it can happen.

Pluto in Capricorn in the USA natal second house is where we can see its power base for money and resources and its world dominance.

The Pluto Return will give us a turning point in the Superpower staus of the USA in the world.

Around the same time, in December of 2020, Jupiter will conjunct Saturn in Aquarius, a sign of the beginnings of the Age of Aquarius; so the USA will be either struggling to become an equal member of the Diversity in Unity world forming for the New Age, or it will be nicely fitting into that new world already.

And whichever candidates are connected to that Pluto in Capricorn natal position of the USA have a better chance of being a nominee and/or President.  A few other candidates we will look at also have a connection to the USA natal Pluto.

Hilary Clinton was born on October 26 1947 at either 8 PM or 8 AM.   Different close friends or workers of hers have given these polar opposite times of birth.  So Astrologers use both to try assess Ms. Clinton.

The 8 AM time gives Hilary Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Pisces and Scorpio Rising, making her a double Scorpio.

The 8 PM time gives her Sun in Scorpio and Moon in Pisces,  the same as the 8 AM time, but the rising sign changes from Scorpio to Cancer Rising.

The 8 AM time with double Scorpio (and also Mars conjunct Pluto) show her to be very intense and powerful,  rather ruthless and demanding, yet also being a very sensitive feeling person who sacrifices herself for others (Moon in Pisces).

But in this 8 AM scenario the “weight” of her tendencies is more toward the power and ruthlessness, and less toward the gentle sensitive.

With the 8 PM Cancer Rising she still is very intense and powerful, but the “weight”of her character is toward sensitive and giving, motherly and nurturing, sensitive and caring.

In the 8 AM chart her Rising sign of Scorpio, her Saturn in Leo and her North Node in Taurus all make difficult aspect to the USA Moon in Aquarius. Her Uranus in Gemini makes conjunction to the USA Mars in Gemini (which rules conflict and war);  and her Venus in Scorpio and Neptune in Libra make rather favorable aspect to the USA natal Sun in Cancer.

There are no connections to the USA natal Pluto and few to the coming important planetary movements.

Her 8 PM birth time has similar connections, but with a more warm and fuzzy temperament.

Both Sanders and Clinton have enough solid connections to have a chance to be the Democrat’s nominee for President as well as actual President.

We will also look at the Democratic Convention and Election Day planetary alignments in connection to the candidates’ natal charts before making final predictions.  We will then make a final prediction after Mercury goes back Direct on January 25.

The next couple of weeks we will analyze the Republicans.

Remember that my assessments will be strictly based on the astrological formula and I will divorce my predictions from polls or conventional political wisdom.

For this coming week, it is time to get your life more in order and to make commitments to plans and goals, issues and people who are important to you.

But remember that Mercury is Retrograde, so thinking and communication are in flux and thus off their usual center. Expect the past to come back to you in various ways also.

The stock market took up where it left off during the eclipses in September, going way down in value.   This is only the beginning of a vast transformation of the world and USA economy.

Let’s meet again next week,

Leo

Back in the World Again, a look at 2016 and Astrology Forecast January 3-9

Posted in Weekly WorldView and Astrology forecast with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 2, 2016 by spiritualtherapy

By Leo Knighton Tallarico

It should be obvious to all who are tuned in, that our world is going through huge transformaional change.

This new chapter of life for humans on Planet Earth quite arguably began at the Cardinal Grand Cross in April 2014.   And all of 2014 and 2015 have expanded our collective experience of this new life season and world we find ourselves in.

This new chapter or season of our lives is similar to the ’60s and ’70s revolutionary period of time.  So much is shifting, and people are again having to adjust their consciousness and life to be in step with the changes.

There is a huge push toward big change, similar to the ’60s and ’70s,  but of course the quality and experiences of such change is different.

There has been a passionate revival of civil rights issues,  the last couple of years for African Americans and for LGBT peoples.

There is a stoking of primal conflictual tensions also, as the Islamic State was fully born at the Cardinal Grand Cross, and then perpetrated many vicious acts in 2014/15.

Many people have been holding on tightly to status quo life stability, while at the same time letting in the changes that cannot be stopped.

And all of this is happening as the Technological revolution has become more and more an important part of everyone’s life. It actually consumes the life and consciousness of more and more people.

And as we look at our political world, as can be in part seen through the approaching primary season for President of the USA, candidates and voter reaction show us a huge transformation going on in our worldviews.

Especially the candidates Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders are revealing the deep dissatisfaction the citizens feel for the current condition of life in the USA.

And don’t be fooled by the statistics showing the economy on solid footing.

It is a mirage, as many people are generally having a rough time of it financially. Two people need to work in most families; college has outrageous costs for young people; and corporate controls of people’s souls and lives is quite apparent.

The world as we have known it has been changing rapidly these last couple of years, and sometimes people are overwhelmed trying to take it all in.

As in the ’60s and ’70s, the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius is awakening more in more in people’s hearts, consciousness and lives, whether they know it or not.

Our individual lives, our country, and our world are transforming at a rapid rate now, and even our sense of time seems to be accelerating.

And now in 2016 we will feel even more fully into this new chapter of our lives, as personal and global changes continue to intensify.

Uranus continues to square Pluto, though not exact anymore; and Saturn continues to square Neptune, with Jupiter in Virgo forming a mutable  T-square to Saturn and Neptune.

Uranus squares Pluto, similarly to the Uranus conjunct Pluto aspect that swept us into the ’60s revolution.

Powerful change continues as they continue their  transformational dance with one another.

And Saturn square Neptune continues our challenges with boundaries and limits, and continues our trying to balance security with sometimes big changes.

In the greater world that will often take the form of chaotic changes and uprisings being threatening to a sense of security. So then police, military and governmental controls will get stronger and stronger.

Anarchy versus fascism would be the most dramatic expression of this conflict.

The transformation of the global economy will likely require a worldwide crash of the stock market to clear the way this year.

And the rebalancing of power in the world to Diversity in Unity will likely require conflicts intensifying in the world. The Middle East will break apart much more.  Europe will face greater threats to its stability as will the USA.

Yet those who are being awakened and are transforming and evolving will also see an unveiling of hidden truths, a reconnection to more magic and synchronicity, and a greater sense of empathy for those who are supposed to be enemies.

A knowing that all is connected and that meaning is everywhere we look is another benefit of the transformation into the Age of Aquarius.

A healing of our human family and our Earth home is another important part of the great changes in our lives in this new season.

And each of us will be more motivated to lead more authentic lives through our jobs, relationships and personal worlds.

It will be another year of great change and a greater acceptance of this new season of our lives.

This coming week, the first full week of 2016,  shows three very important shifts: Mercury Retrograde, Jupiter Retrograde and a last quarter Moon leading to the Capricorn New Moon.

Tuesday January 5 Mercury goes Retrograde at 8:06 AM, breaking up the 11 day opening of all planets being Direct.  Mercury will stay retrograde until January 25.

As always our perception of reality shifts, as do our communication efforts.   There is a rewinding into our past and into past relationships, either in our dreams, our strong memories or in our actual lives.

Some will feel like they are slowly drifting into another reality, like being in a Twilight Zone.  And it should go without saying that with all this mental shifting, it would be wise if possible to puAt off any major decisions or important new ventures until Mercury goes back Direct again.

Jupiter goes Retrograde on Thursday January 7.  Combined with Sun square Uranus and Moon in Sagittarius , there could be a couple days of greater excitement surrounding that date.

The third shift this week is into the last Quarter phase of the Moon. This last quarter will bring to an end the lunar cycle begun at the New Moon in Sagittarius on December 11.

The last quarter phase of the Moon is always a time of tapering off activity and issues that began at the New Moon.

There is a feeling of “coming down”, and some people get more depressed at such times.  But most will just accept that they are on the down slope before the beginnings and renewed energies and actions at the next New Moon.

The New Moon will be on Saturday January 9 at 8:31 PM EST. in Capricorn.

Being in Capricorn it coincides with needs to get back into the world, to discipline oneself more, to meet one’s obligations, to do what one needs to do, to plan more, to accomplish, and to follow a set of rules that one believes in.  It is time to take more responsibility for one’s life, and not put the blame on others.

A New Moon in Capricorn shows us our need to set up more solid boundaries and to be able to say no when appropriate.

Capricorn is rules by the planet Saturn, and as such teaches us life lessons, gives karma, rules the hand of time, and brings us wisdom from our mistakes and life lessons and experiences.

So this week will certainly take you off vacation, and thrust you back into the world and reality.

Just please do not take it all too seriously, do not be too strict, and do not (with Mercury going Retrograde) believe everything you see and think, or make any big decisions or major life moves.

Till next week,

Leo

Waving Goodbye to 2015 and Astrology Forecast December 27-January 2

Posted in Weekly WorldView and Astrology forecast with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on December 26, 2015 by spiritualtherapy

By Leo Knighton Tallarico

Next week on January 2,  I will do a forecast for 2016,  including the Presidential primaries and election.

For this coming week, which includes the last week of 2015 and the first day of 2016, there is not much planetary action.

We will still feel the effects of the Cancer Full Moon the weekend of December 26/27.  Then we move through the waning half of the lunar cycle that began at the Sagittarius New Moon on December 11.

At the New Moon in Capricorn on January 9, that lunar cycle willl end as the new one begins.

But for this week the Moon’s light begins to slowly fade away as the year 2015 fades away too.

Interesingly, the rare occurence of all the planets being Direct is now in effect since Uranus went Direct on December 25.

We have a very short window of all Direct planets, as Mercury goes Retrograde on January 5 and Jupiter goes Retrograde on January 7.

We have a mere 11 days of all Direct planets.

So you can use this time to get really clear about your self and your life.  You can feel more confident in your ability to transform and change your self and your life in a positive manner.

This all bodes well for this transition time between years.

But we are also in the waning half of the lunar cycle, at the end of the year, and many taking time off from work.

So the slowdown precludes much action forward being taken, but with the Sun in Capricorn now, we can get really clear about what intentions and resolutions we want to make for the New Year 2016.

You can know more than usual for this time of year, as the planets are all direct,  what course is right for you and how you can get there.

Venus moves out of deeply instinctual Scorpio and into Sagittarius on Wednesday December 30. So your heart can help you to find more inspiration from others through conversation, books, movies, etc.

You can also begin (Venus stays in Sagittarius until January 23.) to expand your relationship efforts to repair and heal.

It should be somewhat easier, while Venus is in Sagittarius, to see the bigger picture of relationship, and to be motivated to make relationship improvements.

2014 and 2015 have been especially powerful transformational years.

Our world is going through great growing pains,  and most people find it difficult to see where we are all going.

It seems so apparent to me that the old conventional world is breaking apart, especially so as people seem tired of the old ways that are no longer working for them.

Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders both represent a breaking down of old ways.  Trump has little respect for the American political system and little tolerance for, in his opinion, politically correct ways of being.  And Sanders wants to greatly transform the economic system into one more equitable for all peoples.

Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner is a potent symbol of old gender roles and identities being more blurred than ever. This phenomenon is happening all over America.  More and more people are questioning and experimenting with sexual orientations.

So called minorities in America will be the majority of peoples in 20-30 years, totally transforming our country.  Europe also is becoming more multicultural, and other countries like Iran and Saudi Arabia are beginning to open the doors for liberation for females.

Global Climate Change is being taken more seriously in our world which will change how we live our lives, build our homes and drive our vehicles.

The internet and computer revolution is putting out newer gadgets and electronic equipment that will further transform our lives.

The Middle East shows us great transformation of national, cultural, and religious paradigms- as Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, and Islamic State are shifting national identities and cultural realities.

China and Russia are flexing their national and cultural muscles greatly, and further threaten the old power structures and paradigm.

Though some of these changes may be extremely difficult to see in a positive light, they are all part of the deep and vast changes we are moving through as we transition between ages and paradigms.

Just as in personal transformation, sometimes one’s outlook during the transformational process is dark, foreboding, and painful.

As one wakes up to new ways of seeing and acting, and as one releases the old ways of being; one then moves toward more light at the end of the tunnel in the transformational process.

So do your best not to fret too much or to get too much into fear or cynicism.

Much of the ugly stuff we are seeing now is temporary, as we cleanse our human condition in preparation for greater healing and an Age of Aquarius.

I saw a documentary recently about Viking invasions of England 1300 years ago.  There were brutal and ruthless rapes, beheadings, stolen lands, and killings. There were no modern conveniences and little true freedom and individual choices.  The Christian Crusades were also quite filled with horror.

Civilization in many ways has improved greatly since then.  Actually, on the contrary, it is arguable that in many ways we have become too civilized, too emotionless, too immersed in personal mental and electronic bubbles.

We are now at a true turning point in human affairs.  And as such we are hopefully questioning most everything, so we keep that which is right for our new world, let go of that which is no longer aligned, and create our new world together.

Nothing can hold back the tides of change that have been moving through our world.  But we have choice as to the quality of that change as we re-imagine, re-think, and steer our hearts in new directions.

Till next week’s Forecast for 2016,

Leo
