Moving On and Astrology Forecast for July 1-7

The shakeup time of the Eclipse Season has ended; Saturn’s hand of time has started back up again; Venus has gone back direct; Mars has completed its full cycle since it went retrograde in January.

We have landed in a new zone, a new chapter of our lives. Many are still feeling much difficulty as we adjust to the new zone. We are still  processing the changes and trying to make sense of it all, as we are dealing with the issues that have come to reality during the passing time of these important planetary aspects.

Relationship issues especially have come to light, and many are challenged now to sort out these issues and figure out how best to navigate them.  This was an especially important Venus Retrograde period, as it happened during the Eclipse Season and had a Venus Passage as part of its cycle.

Some have come to question their relationships as they have traveled into new spiritual and consciousness zones.     They are unsure where they now stand with their partners or friends or spouses or family members.  They feel perhaps they have grown away from their relationships, and are unsure how to keep the connection.

Others had previously kept their relationship issues covered up, but during this last period of time were reminded what is wrong and not working and can no longer avoid dealing with it.

Others are in new relationships and wondering if they will work out.

While still others have rekindled old connections and are wondering how the old friend or flame can now fit into their lives.

What is most important is that now our relationships need work, issues need to be resolved, and yes some people need to be let go of and to say goodbye.

But the changes that have occurred are not only about relationships.    We are in new life consciousness landscapes, and just beginning this new chapter in our lives.   Whatever direction you are now moving in may not be clear yet, but you are moving forward nevertheless.

Soon events will unfold that are the result of the shakeups of this recent Eclipse Season that has passed.    These events will be a natural outgrowth from what has shaken up at a very deep level of our beings.

For instance at the global level, the meetings with Iran that occurred during the Eclipse Season are over. No more major meetings are scheduled for the future.  Soon Nato, western powers and Israel will be deciding what to do.   The chaotic situation in Syria is very connected to Iran and decisions will be made on what to do.

I believe that the western powers will now find a way to dominate Syria and Iran, and there is a great chance that war will be the result.  Global Powers like China and Russia appear to be firmly backing the governments in Syria and Iran.  Much will soon unravel in the Middle East.

In Egypt during the Eclipse Season, a new President was elected, he a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. This will also greatly affect the Middle East.  The Middle East, as a result of the happenings during the Eclipse Season, will soon bring us new and important events this summer and autumn.

Greece has also had a bumpy ride during the eclipses and has elected a new government.    This new chapter in Greek life will soon bring events that will shape our USA and global economy.

The Middle East and Global Economy will bring the most important events into our world soon.

And in the USA a culture conflict has been intensifying and will play out this summer and autumn as we get ready for a presidential election in November. This past week, as Saturn went back Direct, we witnessed the Supreme Court giving the go light to the health care platform of President Obama.   The events that result from this decision will be soon forthcoming and will greatly affect the coming Presidential Election as well as the culture wars in America.

Some are even predicting a kind of civil war brewing here in the USA.    The Zimmerman/Martin court trial will be part of this culture war also.

There are still many people who do want to progress into a Diversity in Unity future.  They like the old world of separation and privilege for the few just fine. They like to keep up class warfare and believe certain peoples are better and deserve more than others.

They also believe certain countries are better and those countries deserve to make the world in their image, to dominate others to lead lives just like them.  They are the colonialists and they still are operating, getting everyone to believe that they are ridding the world of the “bad guys” again, to make the world a better place.  Iraq and Saddam Hussein are recent examples of modern colonialism and domination of other cultures for your own benefit.

Syria, North Korea, and Iran are the now evil enemies. Do not buy into this propaganda.   We are moving into a world of equals and Diversity in Unity, a healing of our Earth and human family, a revelation for all that all and everyone is connected, all the dots in the Universe are connected in meaningful Unity.   We are each cells in the greater body of humanity, the Earth and Universe.  We are interdependent and need one another so we can move into a New Aquarian Age together.

Evolution is dependent on our knowing that our survival is dependent on our being in Unity consciousness and in Unity with one another.

There will likely be a powerful climax to the Old World before it leaves us, and the next few years while Uranus is squaring Pluto from now through 2016, will bring the worst of the old paradigm smashing into our collective faces.

We must be strong and keep hope alive as we each expand our consciousness in alignment with the principles and frequencies of a new paradigm and Aquarian Age.    As Rome burns, we build and create our new world.  By 2021 we should be solidly residing in our new age, but till then we will be in crisis while in transition between ages.

This coming week brings a Full Moon and Mars finally leaving Virgo for Libra.

Mars has been in Virgo since mid November 2011. It usually spends only a month to six weeks in a sign.  It has been in Virgo so long because it  went retrograde there from the end of January through mid April, and has since been slowly finishing up its Virgo travels.

Mars in Virgo has brought our active energies into often harsh reality, finding order and fixing, analyzing and sometimes obsessing, grounding, simplifying and making more humble.

Now Mars goes into Libra on Tuesday July 3 and will stay there until August 30.  While Mars is in Libra we are directed to make relationship, make more beauty and artistry, find balance, and honor justice and fairness.  Making relationship not only means social connection, but also means finding the connections in everything, how one thing is related to another, how one color goes well with another color, how one person goes well with another person.

And of course Libra is the scales of balance, which is what the legal system uses to signify justice.

So the discriminating and sometimes nitpicking energies of Virgo shift to the more refined and socially aware frequencies of Libra.

Also on Tuesday July 3 is the Full Moon in Cancer/Capricorn at 2:52 PM EDT.

This Full moon brings to completion and resolution issues begun at the New Moon in Gemini on June 19.  This Cancer/Capricorn Full Moon is about balancing our personal and professional, our domestic and career, our inner and outer values, our connections to “father” and “mother’ attitudes and principles.

Keep in mind that next week, on July 14 we have another round of Mercury Retrograde beginning.

The Hand of Time and Astrology Forecast June 24-30

I am coming to the end of a very lovely, mystical, and heart opening stay in Glastonbury, England, also known by many as Avalon.  I thank the gods for directing my attention to coming here during the Summer Solstice week 2012.  Something has shifted for me on a deep level, and it will be awhile before I fully know what it all means.

Yes for us all collectively this has been a turning point time period.  That turning point finishes up this coming week, as we begin to move more decidedly forward.

The Universe’s hand of time planet, Saturn, moves forward on Monday June 25.  Saturn rules time, which of course is the great limit maker and stop and go sign for our free souls and spirits.  Time waits for no one as they say, and now it is time to allow the hand of time to push us forward into our future.

Perhaps you have some last minute choices to make?  This coming week may be the time to make them, or to at least take a greater sense of responsibility for where your life is headed.

Saturn also helps us to make real that which has merely been a dream or idea, so you can stop procrastinating this week, and begin to truly “make it happen”.

Also on Monday inspirational Jupiter and mystical Neptune make a square to one another.  If you have to make any decisions or big moves forward, it will be important to know and sense the spiritual connection.   Doing what you feel you must do is fine now with Saturn going direct. Making plans and setting up a strategy is fine and aligned with Saturn, but the Jupiter/Neptune connection demands a spiritual energy and viewpoint leading your way.

You may actually feel a “divine obligation” to move in a certain direction. Keep in mind that much of this may not be totally evident or conscious yet, but the shift can be felt at a deeper level if you so tune in.

In the wider world of global trends and events, this is also a turning point time.  Greece had its elections, and those results do not yet foretell what will happen to the economy of Greece, Europe or the greater world.  But the energies will be moving forward to some chosen destiny now, whatever that turns out to be. In my estimation, we are at a crisis point for the European Union, and soon it will begin to unravel.  The global economy will begin to also unravel soon.

In Egypt, as I write this, election results have not been announced yet. If the candidate who represents the old Mubarak era wins, there will be great and violent civil strife in Egypt, as those results will put the army in firm charge and negate the Arab Spring revolutionary intent of 2011.  Turning point this week when the results come in.

The talks with Iran ended with no agreement. This promises a coming showdown with western powers. Syria is also in the mix, along with the future of Israel.  Russia and China are lining up now with Syria and Iran; and a great conflict could be on the way.  Watch the news this week to get a sense of what the turning point is about for this important global issue.

Remember that whatever direction all these issues are moving toward do not change the overall movement of transformation out of an old Pisces Age and into a new Aquarian Age. Our world is transforming into one of Diversity in Unity.  Each of us is finding and honoring our very distinctive and authentic  individuality, while learning to be more aligned with Universal Love and Truth, and a new Earth human community.   A new economic reality and world power structure is developing as the old one comes crumbling down.

The only question is about how the world drama will play out, and how the balance of difficulty and grace play out on the global stage.    ”Rome” will burn again, but this time it will herald a new way  and a New Age.

Uranus square Pluto, a most important aspect for showing the way through the deep and powerful transformational period of the next 3-4 years makes its first pass of seven passes this Sunday June 24.  The revolution and evolution begun in the ’60s, goes to the next level from 2012-2016. The old system has out worn its time, and a new birth is pushing through.

Each of us can align with our Soul and the Universe in a way that shows us what we need to know and what we need to do, when we need to know and when we need to do it.  There is nothing to fret or worry about. You will be divinely guided if you are paying attention and deeply believe.

Adding to the shifting tides this coming week is the fact that Venus will also be going Direct this week Wednesday June 27, after having been retrograde since May 15.

The relationship issues are more evident now.  And this week you can begin to move forward with your relationship life, looking to move beyond old patterns that do not serve you anymore.  This applies to romantic relationships as well as familial, friendships, and work relationships.   You are ready to move more fully forward toward a more healthy relationship life.

Perhaps you are getting married or divorced, or ready to solve relationship issues and end dysfunctional patterns. You may need more space from family members or a stronger assertive stance toward those who have abused you or ignored you.

You are ready for healthier and more aligned relationships now.

After this week, “whatever will be will be” is a good mantra, and our need to let go to that reality will be most important.

Entering a New Life Chapter and Astrology Forecast June 17-23.

This is a very important “turning point” week ahead.   It is time for a New Chapter of our life stories to soon begin.

A powerful spring 2012 Eclipse Season with a Venus Passage is passing.  The first eclipse was a New Moon Solar Eclipse on May 20.  That began a lunar cycle, which included a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on June 4 and a Venus passage on June5/6, that ends on June 19 this week at 11:02 AM EDT with a New Moon in Gemini.

That Eclipse Season shook up our collective consciousness and lives, took us out of our usual balance,  and left us in a new zone, one for many not totally  defined yet.

But this coming week, we will know more, and ready or not begin the voyage forward into that new life chapter.

The New Moon in Gemini on June 19 is a stronger New Moon than the usual new moon because on that same day Mars comes full circle from its recent retrograde period.  That is because on June 19 it finally goes back to the spot it began retrograde on January 24, 2012,at 23+ degrees of Virgo. Mars, the planet of action, force, and movement forward completes the cycle and has us all ready to begin anew.

Closely following the New Moon and Mars completion is the annual seasonal change of Summer Solstice on June 20 at 7:09 PM EDT.

On June 24 is the first of seven passes of revolutionary and evolutionary Uranus square Pluto.

On June 25 is the hand of time Saturn going back Direct again, setting our stop watches to begin again.

And on June 27 Venus goes back Direct also, being retrograde since May 15. Relationships issues are ready to move forward again.

So the Eclipses and Venus Passage shook us up out of our old habits and status quo positions;  this next 10 days or so we make transition toward the New Chapter in our life.  Afterwards:  All Systems are Go.

In the greater world we can see this shift as we look at the Greek election this weekend; the Egyptian Elections this weekend; the likely last step in the Iranian talks on June 19/20; and a Syrian crisis coming to a head.

The Greek elections will show us much about where the global economy is going, as Greek citizens’ votes will decide if the recent European bailouts will hold or not.  Greece, of course is historically a very important country in western civilization roots. The European and Global Economies will be greatly affected.

The Egyptian elections will show us much about what really broke open with the Arab Spring in 2011 and how much influence Islamists will have in the Egyptian Government. The future of Israel hangs in the balance.

In Moscow will be the talks between Iran and World Powers trying to convince Iran to give up its Nuclear programs. If there is not much progress this time, war drums will certainly get very loud.

So the future direction of our World System is very much at a stake during this coming period.  A New World Chapter is about to ensue.   More clarity about the potential forms of world transformation into an Aquarian Age will show itself.  How graceful and how painful the transition is in the balance.

Watch the news very closely during the next 10 days for other stories that will show us important movements in our human story on Earth as we move into an Aquarian Age.  In coming weeks we will also look at the coming Presidential Election and the charts of the Presidential candidates.

And in your own life, what new chapter are you moving into?  What have you been letting go?  What chapter is now ending?  Have there been recent deaths or departures of loved ones or pets?  What period of your life did they represent?

What has been changing in your relationships recently?  Are you ready to move out of old ways and patterns that are not right for you anymore? Will the relationship end or is it instead ready to transform? Is your relationship ready to move forward.  Are you moving in together or getting married soon?

Are you ready for new education or schooling?   Is your career and job life ready for a new chapter? Are you spiritually ready to progress to a new level?  In some way each of us is now ready or getting ready to move forward into a New Chapter of our lives, and so is the World and Universe.

This coming chapter will be a most important and profound chapter, as soon our collective world will go through much change and transformation, much more than most are imagining.  2012 will be a very crucial year for beginning vast changes in our world and all our lives.

But it is only the beginning, not the end. The next several years, especially so with the Uranus square Pluto aspect of 2012-2015, will show us deep transformation of our world.  Remember that the conjunction of Uranus and Pluto in 1965-66 brought great revolutionary energies of the ’60s.

And in 2014 Uranus and Pluto square each other while in close aspect to the USA natal Sun at 13+ degrees of Cancer. The time leading up to this aspect and afterwards promise deep and vast change for us in the USA. Our very way of life and our place in the Global Community will be greatly transformed.  This is a hugely important aspect for America, and as it impacts our Sun it promises to change our collective sense of identity and purpose.

We so need now to return to our founding principles of liberty, justice, fairness and equality, and self determination for all peoples. We will need to release our identity as Superpower and being better than other countries and peoples.

The Aquarian Age demands “all are created equal” with certain inalienable rights like “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”. This precludes our desires to take over other countries and mold them into being how we want them to be, to serve our interests.

The balance of world power will change and soon.

In your own life, let go of that which keeps you programmed by society or family into being what you should be instead of actualizing your Authentic Soul Self, aligned with the Universe and its movement into an Aquarian Age.

The Universe will support these efforts, as long as they are accomplished in balance with your practical life demands. If you feel you are clear with a new purpose in your life, remember that the movement forward is a process of letting go of the past and moving forward to your new life.  It does not happen all at once.

Always look for the signs and synchronicities and wait for the Universe to give you “Go” signals. It is not just about your personal will. You are in relationship with the Universe and need to know your steps are aligned.

This is an important transition time for all of us.  Stay grounded and connected these next several days and be ready to move forward.

In Between the Eclipses and Astrology Forecast for May 27-June 2

The eclipse season is up and running now, as we are past the first eclipse and this Monday May 28 we will be half way to the second one, a Lunar Eclipse Full Moon on June 4.

Each time we move through powerful planetary movements, as we are now in the late spring 2012; another big chink is made in the armor of the Old Paradigm’s world.

Events bring to the surface issues that need to be addressed, issues that reflect our collective need to transform toxic patterns and beliefs that do not serve us anymore.

In the greater world, Iran is being singled out as a threat to the Old Paradigm’s control. There was a meeting on May 23 this past week to resolve the outstanding Iranian nuclear issues, with no sign of a breakthrough.     There is a new meeting scheduled for June 18-19. Remenber that eclipse seasons usually give us breakdowns or breakthroughs, so soon we will know which way that goes.  World oil prices, the global economy, and geopolitical military issues are at stake.

In the global economy, news out this past week shows potential big trouble in Greece with its continuation in the European Union. If they leave, that will greatly affect the global economy.

In Egypt, which was a powerful player in the Arab Spring liberation movement in 2011, they had their first real democratic presidential election ever this past week.  Results are still not final, but it looks as if one of the Old Guard’s leaders will be in a runoff election on June 16-17 with the Muslim Brotherhood’s candidate. Egypt and much of the world will be greatly affected by the results.  If the Old Guard Leader wins, revolution will break out again in Egypt.  If the Muslim Brotherhood candidate wins, an Islamic world domination of the Middle East will occur, which will move Egypt away from the western world powers’ control. Israel will be greatly affected also.

So that Perfect Storm we suggested would build in the Eclipse Season is truly building. How strong it gets remains to be seen.

We wrote to you also in earlier posts that June 19 to June 28 would be the time frame for the end of the Eclipse Season and the beginning of a new chapter in all of our lives would follow that time period.

I believe then we will have much better knowledge of Iran, the global economy, the Middle East, and the big shift of our world from an old Pisces Age and Paradigm to a New Aquarian Age Paradigm.

In your own life whatever has been shaking up and getting your notice, will continue to develop and want to work itself out soon.

Next week will be the Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Gemini/Sagittarius and some form or feeling of revelation or culmination will unfold.  Recent information or messages or signs will be challenged to find resolution or meaning or inspiration.    Spirits will be raised higher, seeking new projects or adventures to be starting soon.

But first, this coming week we meet the half way point between the two eclipses, a beginning second quarter Moon in Virgo this Monday May 28.  With the Sun in Gemini and the Moon in Virgo, energies will centered in our minds and nervous systems.  There will be a tendency to want to “figure it all out” and some will need to resist the pull into obsessive compulsive thinking and high anxiety.

Do your best to “let it go” and be patient.   Overall we need to trust more and more the process, and not jump to conclusions too fast.

Many people may be feeling quite differently in their bodies now in thisw eclipse season, but resist the temptation to pathologize and find something wrong with your self. Sometimes these new energies are trying to move through us and they find resistance in our bodies.   Later these energies will pass and so will whatever bodily ailment that has developed. These are times to release, not hold.

So let go and release what needs to be released, so new and healthier states  and patterns can be formed.

Remember also that Venus will remain retrograde until June 27, so relationships issues are in the spotlight, relationships of all types, not only romantic ones.

People from the past and issues and patterns from the past may return. Do not let your self believe that all your progress was in vain.  Sometimes we need to revisit old ways and people to compare and to further release where we have been in previous cycles and seasons of our lives.

You are best not to return to the old relationship or old ways that you used to relate.  There is a need to trust the Universe, life and your self, to bring to you what is best for you and your soul.  It is not always the script we have convinced ourselves is best for us. It is not usually the script our family or society has programmed us to believe is best for us.

The nuclear family dominance is fading from our lives and for many is already in the rear view mirror. New families and communities are and will be forming, ones that are not based solely on blood relations and simple biology.  Bio-genetics, stem cell research, many new ways to give birth, gay and lesbian families, adoptions, and safer birth controls are revolutionizing our world.

Great thrusts forward in technology and social networking are transforming our world community and are so in line and aligned with Aquarian principles.

One of our most pressing needs now is to integrate this technological revolution that has been tranforming our human community for over 20 years now, with healing our Earth and environment, and staying present, aware and grounded in our human psyches, emotions, and relationships.

We need also to learn more about how to use alternative energy, work better with climate change, connect more compassionately and  tolerantly with those who are different and have different lifestyles than us.

We have so much to do to transform our world to be aligned with the Aquarian Age energies and patterns that are straining to find doors and windows to move through into our consciousness and lives.

Use this eclipse season to transform your own life more aligned with the New Paradigm that is forming. Release your old mental tapes, heal the blocks and wounds to your heart, and come more deeply into your soul. Let your free mind awaken, liberate your spirit, and trust the waves of change to bring you to a more authentic and healthy life.    You are here for a reason on this Earth, living a life of meaning and purpose, connected to the Universe  and your human community.

Solar Eclipse New Moon in Gemini and Astrology Forecast May 20-26

On Sunday May 20 at 7:47 PM EDT there a Solar Eclipse New Moon at 0+ degrees of Gemini.  It is an annular eclipse, meaning that the Moon will not fully be covering the Sun. The Sun will show a ring around the darkened Moon. Approximately 86% of the Sun will be covered.

This eclipse can be seen in much of the USA.  Its path will be from Japan down through Oregon and California and then through much of the Southwest USA.  The Midwest USA will see a partial eclipse. On the East coast USA the eclipse will not seen as the Sun will have just set.   Though there are at least 2 Solar Eclipses every year, there has not been one seen in the USA for about 18 years.

Astrologically speaking, eclipses are powerful events that shake up our usual sense of balance, intensify the energy field, and often bring breakdowns and breakthroughs that allow for change to move through our lives.

It seems to me that over the last few years “Eclipse Seasons” have gotten more and more powerful.  There are more important world events that occur, and people’s individual lives are more affected.

This Eclipse Season , which started approximately 2 or 3 weeks ago will keep up the intensity though June.  The resulting events will manifest for months afterwards.

In the bigger picture we are moving from a Pisces Age begun over 2000 years ago, to an Aquarian Age we are the cusp of. Most estimates are that we will pass through that portal sometime this century. I believe 2020 is a good marking point for the beginning of the Age, when Jupiter conjuncts Saturn at 0+ degrees of Aquarius.  I also believe that the intensity and importance of the recent eclipses has risen because we are so close to the beginnings of the Aquarian Age.

The Aquarian Age, like the sign Aquarius, signifies equality, individuality, liberation, and community.  It is Diversity in Unity.  It is about individual entities being self determining, not controlled by outside forces of authority.

Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, was discovered in 1781, a time when two powerful revolutions were being born, the French and American revolutions.  The USA, which has its natal Moon from July 4, 1776 in Aquarius, broke away from the tyranny of Britain and its King.

Aquarius is about power to the people of the world, not royalty, or privilege, or mega corporations or dictators or governments or empires or military/industrial complexes.  These empowered and individualized peoples become stewards of the Earth and form a decentralized, yet unified world community.

We are far from this reality now, though the internet is kind of a model of the networked community that is possible for this Aquarian Age.

Since we are so far away from this reality, there will be many powerful events that shake up our current reality and power structure.  The global economy and world military structure must break down and transform dramatically to allow doors to open that will bring in a new paradigm and way of living on this Earth.

So when powerful planetary events, like this eclipse spring/summer season with two eclipses, Venus Retrograde, and Uranus square Pluto, we can expect events that skake up the old ways and bring in new light for a New Age.

Expect shakeups to our economy and the institutions and people that run this world.  Troubles in Europe are threatening the stability of the global economic system, troubles with Iran are shaking up the military and economic system that controls our world.

This weekend, when the Solar Eclipse happens, there is a Nato meeting in Chicago.  Of course Nato is a huge military power structure that dominates much of the world. There will be a very strong security structure in place in Chicago to protect the meeting from aniticipated massive Protests and potential Terrorist attacks. Keep your eye on this event as it happens on the eclipse weekend.

On May 23 there is an important meeting between world powers and Iran.  There is word out that an agreement is at hand that seeks to keep Israel from bombing Iran, which would cause a massive threat to the economy, oil distribution and prices, and safety in the world. Israel is expected to be upset with the potential agreement, because it believes the agreement will not stop Iran from building a bomb.  It may still act and bomb Iran.

There are also many expected events and information concerning the economic stability of Greece and other European countries during the Eclipse season.

The cultural “civil war’ in the USA, which has been stoked by President Obama’s approval of Gay and Lesbian marriage, will also be in the spotlight during this Eclipse Season.

The first eclipse this Sunday May 20 is in Gemini. This suggests that mental and nervous energies will be in high gear.  Neptune in Pisces is square to the Gemini New Moon. This could bring confusion and mental instability to some. For others there will be tremendous ability to get new and imaginative ideas, to think in new ways. For many both confusion and mental “craziness” will be combined with new and ingenious thinking.

Communication will also be highlighted surrounding the May 20 eclipse.    Conversations may be more lively, yet because of the eclipse and Neptune square some conversations may be overwhelming with information or confusing and crazy making.

If you are a Sun in Gemini person you probably already know what is like to sometimes be overwhelmed or scattered in your thinking, with your nervous system in high anxiety.  This eclipse may stoke those fires of rapid mental and nervous system activity.  Use this Eclipse New Moon to allow new information and ideas, but keep yourself as focused and grounded as possible.

Remember also that Venus is retrograde now in Gemini also, so social interaction could be quite lively.  Keep in mind that Venus retrograde also means that relationship and heart issues are in the spotlight, and old patterns of behavior could be more obvious.

Venus retrograde will help us to address these old relationship patterns and to hopefully transform them to more healthier forms of expression. If you have been putting off dealing with important issues in your relationships, Venus Retrograde time will bring them back up to be dealt with again.

Remember that this Gemini Eclipse is a New Moon, so many will be beginning new ventures in their lives around this time, new classes, new social activities, new relationships. New beginnings of any type will be much more powerful and more important than the usual New Moon new beginnings because an Eclipse New Moon has much more whallop than the usual new moon.

Opportunities for positive change get greater now, so open up and get on the ride.   If you have been previously bored, you will soon not be bored anymore. If you have felt previously like nothing is moving forward, now you will feel life moving forward again.

Venus Retrograde, the Eclipse Season, Same Sex Marriage, and Astrology Forecast for May 13-19

The winds of  Eclipse Season Spring 2012 blow in stronger now.  Today Saturday May 12 we enter the last quarter of the  lunar cycle that precedes the Solar Eclipse New Moon in Gemini on May 20.

Last week powerful transformation was already beginning when President Obama told the world he was in favor of gays and lesbians having the right to get married.   This is the kind of breakthrough that represents Eclipse Seasons, except it is even more important than the usual Eclipse Season event.  The rapidly approaching Uranus/Pluto square figures into this transformative moment in time.

No president has ever come out so strongly in favor of equality for the LGBT community. This is the civil rights equivalent to President Johnson’s actions to getting the Civil Rights Act for black Americans in 1965.

In 1965 there was the first pass of Uranus conjunct Pluto in Virgo, the last major meeting of these two transformational planetary giants.  The Uranus/Pluto conjunction in 1965-1966 symbolized the beginning of the ’60s revolution.  The Viet Nam War, which galvanized a protest movement against war, had its beginning in 1965 also.

Aquarius/Let the Sun Shine In  song came out in the mid ’60s, singing about the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius.   Aquarius is about equality and Diversity in Unity.  Obama’s declaration this last week opens the door to a powerful wave of civil rights transformation for quite arguably the last major group to be excluded from equal rights in this country, the LGBT community.

And hopefully Obama’s righteous move this past week will open the gates all over the world to greater equality and compassion for our gay and lesbian brothers and sisters in our human world family.  Some countries in the world are much worse than the USA in their hatred for the homosexual community.  Gay men especially are horribly tortured in much of the world.

But keep in mind that now, just as in the ’60s when efforts to give  blacks and women equal rights were met with such ferocious backlash, the fight has just begun.

There is kind of a “civil war” brewing, a cultural civil war.  And this issue of equality for gays and lesbians will be front and center in this civil war.  This fight may get rather vicious, and much of the South is already drawing a line in the Mason/Dixon sand.

North Carolina synchronistically this past week overwhelmingly voted to ban both marriage and civil unions for same sex couples.  North Carolina is where the Democratic Party has planned to hold its convention to renominate Obama this summer.   How ironic that is, since Obama made his declaration this week in favor of such unions. Some are saying that North Carolina may be reconsidered as the venue for the convention.

Back in 2008 I let readers know I believed it was quite possible that the long and lanky Obama was the reincarnation of Abraham Lincoln.    And of course it would be poetic justice that the reincarnation of the man who signed the Emancipation Proclamation for black slaves would be the first black president of the USA. In fact what is even more poetic is that President Obama is an equal combination of black and white, true equality.  And he is now opening the gates much wider for liberation of our homosexual community.

And now comes the “civil war” again, hopefully this time without the guns and killing.  Just as in the 1860′s civil war of north against south, there is an old aristocracy that clings to power and privilege, and seeks to deny others equal rights and fair treatment.

To be fair, it is not easy to change one’s way of living life so easily. People have been programmed by their local cultures and religions to perceive people and life in a certain way. These perceptions are not easy to change.   Many changes in the ’60s happened through great turmoil and challenge.

We let you know last week that liberation was a key word for this eclipse season. Besides what happened with Obama and equal rights for gays and lesbians, Egypt had their first ever televised Presidential debate this past week. Since the Arab Spring last year,  Egypt will now have its first ever fair election later this year.  In your own life also be open to liberation,  so watch for where you can find ways for your heart and mind to be more free of the shackles of programming from society and family.

Release and let go of whatever is oppressing and controlling your free spirit, mind and soul.  You have an inalienable right to be free to be self determining and to express your authenticity.  You can let go and release the ties that bind you to people and situations that hold your true self and purposeful life hostage.

Use this eclipse season, which also includes Uranus square Pluto late in June and Venus Retrograde beginning this coming week, to evolve your consciousness and life.

Venus goes retrograde this Tuesday May 15 at 10:33 AM at 23+ degrees of Gemini. It will go back direct on June 27.   Venus retrograde is a time to reexamine heart issues and relationships in your life.   It is a good time to truly go more deeply into your relationships and the patterns of those relationships that you seek to transform.   Often there is a kind of rewind into relationships past, remembering how it used to be.  It is common for there to be  memories or dreams of past relationships, and sometimes people will actually come back for a visit into our lives.

New relationships also often crop up during Venus Retrograde, yet they are mostly good to help us to better understand our old relationship patterns. It is not generally advised to get married or make a life long relationship commitment during Venus Retrograde, but it is a good time to make our relationships more healthy and work better. Relationship counseling is most effective during Venus Retrograde. It is a good time delve deeper to find out if you will need to go further with the relationship or change it or end it.

Remember back to October/November 2010 if you can, as that was the last time we experienced Venus Retrograde. Venus was in Scorpio that time. There was no Eclipse Season back then to coincide with Venus Retrograde, which brings much more power to the passage.

As we get closer to the first eclipse, a Solar Eclipse New Moon in Gemini a week from Sunday on May 2o, more and more world events will pop up that represent big change in our world.

World Powers and Iran meet on May 23, just a few days after the Solar Eclipse and less than two weeks before the second eclipse, a Lunar Eclipse Full Moon on June 4 in Sagittarius.   That meeting will be a very important crossroads time, as Israel is already planning a possible attack on Iran this year.

Another major event possibly forming with a conflict in Iran into the Perfect Storm I wrote about a couple months ago, is the economic challenges in Europe.  Greece and France may be a taking a U-turn out of the Euro zone economic packages that were meant to “save” the European economies from default and disaster.   This could turn into a major challenge for the USA and world economy, and combined with conflict in Iran, could bring major transformation to our world. If not during the Eclipse Season, not long afterwards.

So get yourself ready this week during a last quarter moon phase.   It is time to release and let go and get ready for the new beginnings at this New Moon Solar Eclipse next week May 20. Solar Eclipses are always new moons with exponentially much more power than the usual new moon. So the new beginnings that occur during the lunar cycle from May 20- June 19 will be quite important in your life.

Rewinding and Reflecting Retrogrades and Astrology Forecast for March 11-17

We are moving into the last days of winter before the Spring Equinox on March 19/20.  The Sun is in deep, flowing, and inner directed Pisces, and life’s active energies are in waiting while Mars stays retrograde until April 14.   And now this week Mercury also goes retrograde, putting our minds in rewind and reflect mode.

So if you are feeling restless for action and change, lay back and chill.  It is not time for any big movements yet.

We are working out some issues before we can move forward.    There are issues from our past that need to be addressed, for some they are ghosts of the past that haunt.

Do you want to move forward and then come up again against the same old patterns that never work for you?  If you have not resolved the past and released some old emotions and stuck patterns, then you are fated to a “Groundhog’s Day” repeat.  Perhaps the faces will look different, but after a while you will realize it is the same energies and patterns in disguise.

If you were hurt by someone from your past or you did something you wished you didn’t, perhaps you never resolved or released what happened.

And if you did not, then the issues will come up again and again until you do.  And during these periods, like now when Mars and Mercury are retrograde, and the Sun is in Pisces; the past can come back to us.

Sometimes it comes back only in our minds or hearts or dreams, yet sometimes people from the past actually come back in the flesh to give us a chance to work things out with them.

The energies of change will be moving fast in mid spring and early summer, as there are two eclipses and a powerful Uranus square Pluto planetary aspect.

We will not want to carry too much emotional and spiritual baggage with us on our transformational journey then, so going inward to resolve and release these inner burdens will be very helpful.

So be patient now and stay aware of what is calling to you, from inside your psyche and body and from events and people.    Do your best to not escape or avoid, as staying present will help you to look at what you need to look at.

Mercury goes retrograde this Monday March 12 at 3:49 AM EDT.  It will go back direct on April 4 at 6:11 AM EDT.

During the Mercury Retrograde period your mind, crown chakra, and communication skills will be realigning.  Your perceptions will be shifting, though often the process is slow and subtle.    After awhile you will know you are in a new mental zone, and sometimes it feels uncomfortable. Your mind is wanting to let go of overly left brain analysis and logic.  It is ready to be more intuitive and imaginative.

Do not try too hard to figure everything out, allow something deeper to unfold and appear to you.

This is why astrologers often recommend you do not make major decisions or sign any important contracts during Mercury Retrograde.

But sometimes it cannot be avoided. You are meant to make your decision or sign the contract during the retrograde period. If so trust the natural process.

Do your best not to stress your mind too much to “try to figure it all out” during Mercury Retrograde.  Instead trust that the answers will come to you at the right time in a natural way.

True clarity may not come until after Mercury goes back direct on April 4.  Keep in mind that Mars will still be Retrograde until April 14, so do not push the river to move because you are getting restless for change or action.

You can trust that when the Eclipse Season begins in late April or early to mid May, that life will be shaking with waves of change.

Also this coming week there is a Grand Earth trine aspect most of the week, centering on Wednesday. Venus and Jupiter in Taurus will be trine Mars in Virgo and Pluto in Capricorn.  This is strong aspect for work, organization, and efficiency.  It is a good aspect for getting real and practical and grounded.

If you have been procrastinating, this week will be a good week to do what you need to do.

In the greater world there have been signs that western nations want to work out the conflicts with Iran.  They are setting up a meeting with Iran to try to force Iran to comply with their wishes to give up its’ nuclear ambitions.   This desire to talk is happening during Mars retrograde. Mars, the planet of action and conflict and war, will have more direction in those areas after it goes back direct. Until then there is discussion and reflection.

We wrote about a Perfect Storm developing for the Eclipse Season, which included war with Iran and economic calamity in Europe.  Both of these issues are still brewing, and soon we will know what is going to happen.

Remember that no matter which way things turn, we are inexorably moving into an Aquarian Age.  The marking point for it is after December 2020, when Jupiter conjunct Saturn at 0+ degrees of Aquarius. This will begin a 20 year period of the dawning of the Age of Aquarius.

Until then each of us is in varying degrees of transition between an old paradigm and a new world consciousness.   We are each given situations that challenge us to let go of unhealthy and separating beliefs and ways.  We are given opportunities to enter more healthy and whole frequencies, zones of consciousness that show us connections and synchronicities, signs, symbols and magic.  These new frequencies lead us to the trust that is needed to move forward into Aquarian Age vibrations.

Do your best now to let go of old programming, fear and guilt that keep you stuck and out of alignment.   Many of the ways we were taught are not in alignment with where we are headed.  Open your mind to the truth, open your heart to the love.   Stay aware of the fact that you are a soul inhabiting a body. That body is the vessel that holds your soul’s purpose, and you will live to fulfill that purpose. There is nothing to be afraid of, as nature and the Universe will give you the experiences you require to fulfill those purposes.

There is no force that wants to deny you, except perhaps something inside of you that has been taught to fear the power and magnificence of WHO you are in your beautiful authenticity.

Waking Up, and Astrology Forecast for July 17-23

With the passing of the Full Moon in Capricorn on July 15, we have seen the end of the storms of the eclipse season of spring/summer 2011.   The greatest  intensity of the eclipse storms began to subside a few days after the Cardinal Grand Cross Solar Eclipse New Moon on July 1.   Some resolution was found near this Full Moon in Capricorn, which effectively has ended the eclipse season.

What has happend for many, especially those with natal planets falling within the eclipses’ planetary alignments, is that their old world was shaken up considerably; and for some it will never be the same again.

They received a real wake-up call, a transformation of beliefs and sense of reality.   There was a release of old ways of thinking and of old patterns of behavior that have kept them stuck. Part of the waking up for some was dis-illusion of old cherished perceptions of self and others.

By letting go of the old perceptions and ideas of reality, there is a potential renewal, a rebirth.  Now one can look at their life with new eyes, and see the old challenges in all new ways.

Many I know experienced relationship challenges during the eclipse season.  They met someone new and hoped that person would be the one they have been searching for.  Instead they found an old pattern of relationship disguised a a new face.  In much more rapid fashion than usual, they were forced to face deep truths about themselves and their old patterns in relationship.  Because of the intensity and transformational depth of the eclipse season, they reached deeper in their souls than usual.  After much pain and soul searching, they released the relationship and with it released old patterns of thought and behavior that have limited their happiness in relationships.

Now they are ready to look at the hurts from past heart wounds and abuse that had caused the old self defeating patterns.   And they are or will be more ready than ever to embrace new relationship patterns, and in some cases a knowledge they are fine being alone.

No matter what issues each of us faced during the eclipse season- work,  home, family, etc., the intensity of the storms has subsided.    But we are not done with the repercussions of the eclipses.

Soon we will move forward into this New Season of our lives. We will experience new events that are a result of the changes we made during the eclipse season.

These events will begin to emerge after the next New Moon, the one in Leo on July 30.  Then in September and October, with the arrrival of Comet Elenin, and the ending of the Mayan Calendar on October 28 according to Mayan expert Carl Johan Calleman; we will experience new transformational experiences that continue to change our lives in even bigger ways.

In the greater world, we have spoken before how it is held up by global economy and global military.   The global economy, held up historically through the strength of the USA and Europe, has been faltering greatly. In Europe,-Greece, Ireland, Portugal, Italy and Spain have weakening economies that could default on their loans and jeopadize world economic stability. Even more so, the USA is in a debt crisis that must be settled by early August or potentially the world economy will get much more chaotic.

And the global military, again mostly dominated by the USA and NATO, is running wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya.  There is potential for more Middle East War, even an attack on Iran late this summer or early autumn. The Palestinians are going to the UN in Septemer to ask for recognition of Palestine as a state. This action could cause many dominos in the Middle East and world to fall.

Remember that the Arab Spring, which has brought revolutionary change to countries in North Africa and the Middle East, is still brewing.  This is causing transformation of power and allegiances all over the world. Israel is likely to act to show its power before too long, in order to shift the tides of change.

The Arab Spring revolutions and the Japanese nuclear disaster happened within the time of the last two eclipse seasons: the powerful one that began on the Winter Solstice with a Lunar Eclipse, and the one that happened this spring and early summer.  They both have happened to shake up our world paradigm, to open the gates for a new Paradigm and Age

Big events will continue to erupt, as the floodgates have been opened by the last two eclipse seasons.   An Aquarian Age of liberation, of self determination for all peoples and nations, of equality, of Diversity in Unity flows through the gates.    It brings us back to our souls and hearts and free minds, to the twin pillars that run the Universe: Love and Truth.  It will bring us to where we the people take the reins of the world and take responsibility for the health and well being of our human family and for the Earth and all her creatures.   We return to our alignment to the Universe and its natural cycles and seasons, and to the connections, meaningfullness and sacredness of life.

Our changes are accelerating. Our ability to move more quickly through our issues is happening.  It is important to be flexible now, to keep an open mind and heart, to be present and alert.  The more awake you are, the better able you will be to make the shifts necessary.  The more awake you are, the better able you will be to see the signs and symbols and synchronicities that light your path.

This coming week is slower in planetary alignments and we are now in the waning half of the lunar cycle begun at the Solar Eclipse grand Cross New Moon on July 1.  It is time for some healing and “come down” this week.   On Friday July 22, however, the Sun moves into Leo.  No matter what has been going on in your life, Leo is time to play, to enjoy summer, to be creative.

So make a commitment to your playful and creative self to endulge her and enjoy your life.
